Vintage Copper Beehive Pendant Light Nautical

The deep ribbed copper shade on this pendant light is what really makes it stand out when the light is on. The way it catches and spreads the light creates such a lovely warm atmosphere that it changes the feel of the whole room in the best way. This vintage copper beehive pendant light is a high-quality reproduction in the classic WISKA style, with the rich copper housing and brass fittings that give it a genuine nautical look that people always notice.

Yes, this pendant is one of those pieces that just makes a space feel special the moment you switch it on. It hangs beautifully and gives off that beautiful warm glow that works so well over a kitchen island, dining table or even in a hallway where you want something with real character.

Crafted from Copper and Brass

The large beehive shade is made from solid copper with those distinctive horizontal ribs that catch the light in such a nice way. The top fittings are solid brass and the whole thing hangs from a strong chain. At 6.1 kilograms it feels properly heavy and well made – you can tell straight away it is built to last.

It copies the style of deck lights from cargo ships but as a fresh reproduction it is ready to enjoy right now. The copper will slowly develop a soft natural patina that only makes it look better with time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do you pack and send this heavy copper beehive pendant light?

Yes, we wrap it carefully with plenty of protective foam and put it in a strong box. Every order to the UK and Europe is fully insured and tracked so it arrives safely.

Q: Is this an original old ship light or a new reproduction?

It is a high-quality new reproduction made in the classic WISKA style of authentic ship deck lights. You get the beautiful copper shade and solid build of the originals, but as a fresh piece that is ready to hang straight away.

Q: Can I use it over a dining table or kitchen island?

Yes, it looks fantastic hanging over dining tables, kitchen islands or in living rooms. The warm copper glow creates a lovely atmosphere while the IP56 rating means it can also be used in more exposed spots if needed.

Q: How easy is it to hang from the ceiling?

It comes ready to hang from a chain. We recommend getting a qualified electrician to check the wiring. The E27 holder takes standard bulbs so you can choose the light temperature you prefer.

Q: Can I order more than one for a restaurant or larger space?

Yes, we are happy to sort bulk orders for restaurants, hotels, yacht clubs or multiple rooms. Just send us a message and we will work out good pricing and delivery.

Q: How do I keep the copper looking its best?

A quick wipe with a soft cloth keeps it clean most days. For extra shine you can use a gentle copper polish made for marine items. Many people actually like the natural patina that develops over time – it makes the beehive shape look even richer and more authentic.
