Vintage Brass Ceiling Pendant Lights Nautical Pair

Picture these two handsome lights hanging side by side over your dining table or in your hallway and suddenly your room feels like a proper ship cabin with that lovely warm brass glow. Our vintage brass ceiling pendant light pair brings real maritime history into homes and spaces across the UK and Europe. They are genuine mid-1900s salvaged pieces that look beautiful and feel built to last.

Yes, this pair is a favourite for sailors, coastal families and anyone who loves authentic nautical style. Whether you are lighting a yacht saloon in the Solent, a cottage dining room in Cornwall or adding character to a restaurant in Amsterdam, they fit perfectly and make the space feel special.

Made from Solid Marine-Grade Brass

Each light is crafted from high-quality solid brass that has already proved itself at sea. The wide saucer base and protective cage over the clear glass dome give that classic ship look. At 2.8 kilograms each they feel reassuringly heavy and premium – nothing lightweight or cheap here.

These lights originally lit passageways and cabins on working vessels in the mid-1900s. We salvaged every one and restored it carefully in Europe. You will notice small natural differences in the brass finish and patina on each light – that is what makes your pair truly unique and full of genuine sea-going character.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do you pack and send these vintage brass ceiling pendant lights?

Yes, we wrap each one carefully in protective foam and place them in a strong double-walled box. Every order to the UK and Europe is fully insured and tracked so they arrive safely.

Q: Are these real old ship lights or new copies?

They are 100 per cent authentic, salvaged from working vessels in the mid-1900s and carefully restored in Europe. Every piece carries genuine marks from its time at sea.

Q: Can I use them in a damp area or on a boat?

Yes, the IP56 rating means they handle rain, sea spray and dust without any trouble. Many customers use them happily on yachts, garden rooms and exposed ceilings all over the UK and Europe.

Q: How easy are they to fit on the ceiling?

They fix with a simple base plate. We recommend getting a qualified electrician to check the wiring because these are original fittings from ships. The E27 holders take standard bulbs so you can choose the light you like best.

Q: Can I order more than one pair for a restaurant or hotel?

Yes, we love sorting bulk orders for pubs, hotels, yacht clubs or coastal homes. Just send us a message and we will work out good pricing and delivery details.

Q: How do I keep the brass looking nice?

A quick wipe with a soft cloth keeps them clean most days. For extra shine you can use a gentle brass polish made for marine items. Many people actually prefer the natural patina that develops – it makes the lights look even more authentic and lived-in.
