Vintage Small Brass Wiska Bulkhead Light

This compact brass bulkhead light proves that good things really do come in small packages. At just 18 centimetres tall it slips neatly into tight spots where bigger lights would feel out of place, yet it still delivers that proper nautical charm people love. Salvaged from 1950s German cargo ships, the WISKA design has a clear glass dome inside a sturdy brass cage that gives it real character without taking up much room on the wall.

Yes, this little light is a favourite for anyone who wants authentic ship style in a smaller space. It looks great above a doorway, in a narrow hallway, on a boat cabin wall or even as a subtle feature in a modern coastal home across the UK and Europe.

Solid Brass with Real Ship Heritage

The body is made from high-quality solid brass that has already proved itself at sea. At 1.7 kilograms it feels nicely weighted and well made. The clear glass dome sits safely inside the protective brass cage, and the whole thing carries an IP56 rating so it handles damp areas without any trouble.

These lights originally lit narrow passageways on working German cargo vessels in the 1950s. We salvaged each one and restored it carefully in Europe. You will notice small natural differences in the brass finish on every light – that is what makes yours special and full of genuine maritime history.
