Yes, this vintage brass nautical signal light with clear glass and working shutters is a genuine salvaged piece from old cargo ships – perfect for adding authentic maritime signalling style to homes, entrances, or covered outdoor spaces across the UK and EU. Built from solid brass with heavy glass lens and IP56 rating, it’s designed for reliable directional lighting while creating classic ship deck ambience indoors or out. A refurbished original that’s ideal for wall mounting, bringing real ship history and durable illumination to modern or retro interiors.

Genuine Salvaged Brass Nautical Signal Light

This brass nautical signal light comes from old cargo ships that sailed in the mid-20th century. Made from solid marine-grade brass with a thick clear glass lens and functional brass shutters, it’s built tough for ship signalling – strong and reliable, just like the originals used for safe communication at sea.

At 2.3 kg, it has that proper heavy feel you expect from real ship equipment – premium quality that’s far better than lightweight modern copies. Carefully restored in Europe, it keeps the original vintage charm but is ready for today’s use as a unique wall light.
