Vintage Brass Marine Anemometer – Nautical Wind Direction Gauge

This handsome vintage brass marine anemometer brings proper wind-reading charm to gardens, patios, or coastal homes in the UK and EU. Yes, the heavy brass build with sensitive propeller turns in the lightest breeze and points the wind direction accurately. At 10.8 kg, it stands firm as a striking nautical feature that feels like it came straight off an old ship.

Sturdy Vintage Brass Marine Anemometer – Authentic Wind Direction Gauge

Feel the pull of real maritime history with this impressive vintage brass anemometer. Made mostly from solid brass with deliberate little casting flaws that show its sea-going past, it weighs a satisfying 10.8 kg. The polished metal and sensitive propeller give it far more presence than lightweight modern gauges.

Originally fitted on cargo ships to measure wind speed and direction, this anemometer has been stripped of old paint and carefully polished. The blades spin easily – even if you just blow gently on them – while the arrow shows where the wind is coming from. No maker marks or dates, but it has that genuine retro feel just shy of full antique status.

People often search for vintage brass anemometer, brass marine wind direction indicator, antique brass propeller anemometer, old brass nautical wind gauge, polished brass ship anemometer, retro brass marine wind speed tool, authentic brass fan anemometer garden, classic brass outdoor wind direction gauge.
