This dazzling cleaned metal craftsmanship deco dispatch light is a current expansion to our stock, rescued from a sea liner. This light has been completely rewired with UL-Listed wiring with a ground wire and globule holder that is evaluated for any voltage under 250 volts. Brass Ships Round Cage Bulkhead Light. This is of solid brass construction with a roughcast appearance and aged glass cover. Fit to walls or ceilings using the four mountings that are bolted into position. They can be connected to the externally mounted conduit for an authentic look using brass plumbing fittings and copper pipe. Multiple bulkhead lights can be fitted in series as some have two conduit holes on the cable service box.

The four wingnuts/knobs when undone provide a hinge for the brass cage which had a rubber sealed glass dome in thick old glass. Bulbs are replaced through this front-hinged cage. This bulkhead light is a reasonable 2 kilos of solid polished old brass with a patina from years at sea. The reflector surface inside the light is a result of polishing the inside of the cast brass base.
